Powers and Abilities Limited List

Due to the revamp this site allows the user to have a power or blessing of their choosing.  These powers will remain permanent on your character, these will be additional to the element that the race your character is of.  Keep in mind some of these powers can not be wielded by certain races.   Also now users who want a power or blessing that is custom and not on the list no longer have to roll for it.  You can simply create the power or ability using this template Here and posting the creation here.  If you make a custom blessing or power and would like to make it limited it can be placed here for others to roll for if not then only your character may have it.

Powers: Powers are a unique skill that is given to your character of which has limitations and weaknesses to balance out.

Blessings: Blessings are too a unique skill, the blessing allows a member to master in a certain skill.  Mastering simply ups the Rank of the said skill by one Rank.

List of Powers:

Dark Magic: This allows the user to use dark magic such as Decay, Death, or Voodoo.  This is limited to Witches and Mages only. 0/3

Una Mens: This power allows to turn another persons attack against them.  This is limited to only one person and is free to all classes. Note a Word Count of 5000 is needed to activate it. 0/1


List of Blessings:

Combat Blessing: Allows the user to have mastery in Combat 1 rank up in Mana

Learning Blessing: Allows the user to have mastery in Learning halving Word Count of any training or learning topic needed for a weapon. 0/2


In order to claim a limited Power or blessing you must first ask then Dice will be rolled as to whether you get it or not, note you can not have both a Power and Blessing you can only have one or the other.  Once approved you must then make the power or blessing within your character app where it will state.

Here is where you put a description of your your power. This should be written in a way so that power mimics will be able to understand and properly mimic your ability without having to ask several questions about how it works. So, basically, this descriptions needs to show how your ability works for your character, and how they use it. Remember that the power needs to fit your character's age and level of training. Please look over the power document for limited, locked and banned powers.

LIMITATIONS:
This should balance your power out to make sure it's not too overpowered. This could include a range of your ability, what the power is immune against, how many times and for how long the ability can be used - and counter the good points with weak ones.

SIDE-EFFECTS:
This should be the side-effects that can happen in conjunction with the power. Meaning that these are the things that happens to your character when using and overusing their ability. Does it give your character headaches? Mental/physical drain? Nosebleeds? The need for lots of sleep?

You will need to put a description of the Power/Blessing it's limitations and side effects.  If the dice lands on a 2 you get the Power/Blessing if it is a 1 you do not get it.  You can only role once for Blessing and once for Power giving you two chances.  GOOD LUCK!
