Ignazia, Ray{Done}

   Ability: Lunar Solstice: An ability which lets Ray control the energy levels of particles, (light emitting particles), allowing him to either increase the energy levels or decrease them, so that he is able to either 'heat up' the light, or 'harden' the light. Since his ability circles around the energy levels of said particles, he can also 'emit light' from his body, not requiring a standard light emitting source to at least charge up other particles, as his body continuously projects heat, which he can use as a charging module of energy for his light based attacks. However, if his body heat drops low, and he is not surrounded by an energy emitting or a light emitting source, his powers will fail him and Ray will be useless at that point. His light based attacks have a 'cool-white' feel to them, thus giving it the Lunar property.

   Specialty:
Mental: Enhanced Observation: Ray has an eidetic memory, and so is more observant than others, allowing him to pick out minute details and differences in an opponent's stance, location, etc, allowing him to mentally picture the pieces out and get an idea about the next step.
                           Physical: Enhanced Reaction: Due to Ray's training as a traceur, and his mental specialty, Ray has an decreased amount of thinking time before reaction, making his reactions much faster. Since his body has also been trained to increase speed capacity(through parkour), he can also keep up with his reaction time, making it a more physical aspect to his aptitudes.
   Weakness:
Enhanced Observation: Since Ray records every single little detail he can lay his eyes on, he might be less susceptible to a singular trap, or, at most, double traps, but give him more details than his mind can take in at once, and he will be much more susceptible to missing out things. Basically, overloading his mindframe can cause him to blank out at one object and make him susceptible to failing.
                            Enhanced Reaction: Similarly, if you give him more than two objects to react to with a short span of time, his body will not be able to keep up with his mind, causing his muscles and relay neurons damage(due to the high amount of electric impulses) and also make him less reactive.

History:
"They always said that being smart had a big disadvantage. But they never said that this disadvantage would cost you your family."

Ray's iconic line would be remembered forever by himself, as it marked the fateful night which had changed his entire outlook on life. His life before that had been very happy go lucky, his days well spent in spending time with his loving family. His small family was a happy family, and they spent their lives(or whatever was left of it) in peace. But, sadly, the past always has to catch up to people who try to be good, doesn't it? His father used to be a bounty hunter, and had killed many in his prime. Ray's mother was a small time doctor, but she had also been roped in to Dad's countless schemes to snatch the latest criminals. And Ray, well, he never understood all that stuff. Until that night.....

Even with the hustle of the city life, the thugs of New York never forgot disrespect. With each gang being hyped to an international level, there would soon be a time when the city would be run by such thugs. And Ray's father was one of the first one to die out of revenge in their quest to become international. Ray clearly remembered the night. It was a cold, dark night, not normal in the apparent fall. It was Ray's 13th birthday, and he had gone out to celebrate with his friends, unknowing of what was due to happen. The day had been eventful, with Ray's dad buying him a car(a Ford Mustang GT 500, if you may), and Ray returning the love with showing them how well he had done in school- being the topper again. Ray's friends had thrown a nice party for him at a far off club, and Ray had gone there, being blessed by his parents. Ray didn't remember much of the party, apart from getting really close to one girl who was his crush. But that didn't matter. They were happy in the moment, sure that 2012 would be even a better year after Ray's birthday. He had returned home late in the night.....

Only to find blood everywhere, and the remains of his parents' cut bodies lying across the house. It had surely been the work of thugs, for the cuts were crude and ill-fashioned, desecrating Ray's parents. Ray had bawled his lungs out, and had been in trauma for five whole months in police custody, while he slowly got better. The thugs had been apprehended, and had been locked up nearby, prompting Ray to think, as an eerie red color had crept up in his eyes. He was going to kill them, he was going to have his revenge. Ray, from an early age, had mastered the control over light particles, being a born elemental. Creating a fashioned knife from the light itself, Ray had crudely cut those criminals up in almost the same way that they had cut his parents up. With a creepy smile on his face, Ray had been apprehended, and had been charged with murder, while the murder was blamed on his trauma. Regardless, he had been given the death sentence, and had been saved by the war that started.....

Four years had passed. Ray had escaped to Japan, since that was the only place that survived, and had been doing jobs for the Yakuza, using his abilities to rise through the ranks easily.  He was now well respected, even though he was very young, due to his control over his energy. Ray had been sucked into the underworld because he had nowhere else to go. Till he saw the academy. Waiting for a year to get out of the Yakuza, Ray did odd jobs for the civilians, earning money in whatever way he could. Finally achieving enough cred to get out of the Yakuza, Ray had approached the midnight academy, offering his services as a teacher. Whether or not he would be approved, that was up to the staff.....
