NORTHSTAR
"THIS IS WHY I'M HOT"
The paint remained on her face as her fists continued to hit the steel pole. Her body would buckle from the extreme conditions in place. She was in no mood to allow the world to change for the worse. This war was lost the moment injury was sustained. To belong to a side admitted fault to it all. She was not one to pick sides, but as it were, she happened to find herself in Dahlia. And so, her alliance began.
The sound of her bones hitting the iron beam would echo throughout the building. She stood in the midst of a ruined gymnasium, full of weights and other tools. She could have struck a punching bag, but she was in no state of mind to behave like a human. She would bruise her own bones to ensure the victory of the right side. Which ever side that was. This was not going to be an easy war. And it seemed as if a compromise was impossible.
She hated to wait, and she began to hate solitude. She would ponder her own existence in these moments. But even so, she had work to do.
Her body would have to endure the pain. She would force her dying carcass to live an breathe. Her body may have made her the result of some voodoo magic, but even then, it was a vessel that she would be stuck with. She would have to push her own dying nerves to the test and hope it wasn't going too far. At her mind was not attached to the body, only her soul was her source of power. She would have to adjust to the change of eyes and power. She would have to find her soul in her case of a body. That's all it was. Caitlyne was just a shell, and she herself was the soul that filled it... but that wasn't trapped her. She was free.
Even then, her bones would bruise and most likely begin to crack. Her body would repair it soon enough, but not at the rate she had hoped. She was a being trapped in the body of a human. She was no more special than the rest of them. The only thing that set her apart was her experience and her knowledge. To them, she began to look more like a disciple of god than a normal woman. Compared to them, she was a fallen angel.
And right now, her fists would strike a single metal beam. And they would pain to get stronger and stronger. Her bones would not yield to the pain or the contracting muscles in her hands. She was going to be like N. No no... she was going to be better than him. She was going to find the perfect host. She was going to be a monster.
But that wasn't enough. She needed more. She needed to destroy something. She would go back to where it began. She would do it without order.
